This painting was inspired from the collection of Madame Alexander dolls that were given to our daughters when they were growing up. Between them, they have about 40 dolls, so I have an endless array of subjects to paint.... This Spanish dancer extends her hand and invites you to dance along with her. Keeping the subject simplistic and uncluttered was my intention.
