Vintage Kitchen Utensils

Painting on old, vintage tin ceiling tiles hasn't come without it's challenges.  First, it's hard to find tiles that are in good enough condition that they can serve as my 'canvas' for a painting and have a design that has a smooth center.  Second, it's takes a lot of prep work on the tile itself so that the painting will adhere to a service that often has pealing paint and rust.  Third, it has to be mounted on wood, so it's necessary for me to had a metal worker who can cut and bend the tile fit on the wood.  But, the result is a unique presentation.
