Siblings: A Detail
I was anxious to get at least something done in detail to get a feel for where I was going with this painting. Since I 'ain't no Renoir', I chose what I thought to be one of the most important parts of the painting, and probably one of the most difficult to pull off. It turned out to be one of the most fun parts of the painting to do. I checked out several different reproductions of Renoir's Portrait of Madame Charpentier With Her Children and both images (the photo I took in the museum) and the book reproduction, but both gave me the information I needed to get a fairly accurate depiction. It took me a couple days to get this part done, and I may not be finished with it yet.
